To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the National Defense and Military Channel of China National Radio and Television Station launched a special program "Towards Victory" on August 1, 2024. This program lasts for nine and a half hours, with over 11 million viewers of related live broadcasts on various platforms. Subsequently, official content reached over 170 million people, and the popularity of graphics, text, and videos on various media continues to rise. This military channel special program adopts a "1+N" synchronous live streaming mode, setting up one main venue in multiple external live streaming scenes. Among them, the HR-32D dual channel ultra wideband digital hybrid intelligent wireless microphone system is used in conjunction with R-14D antenna distributor, R-32AU Wide-band Directional Antenna and PM-320 wireless in ear monitoring system to build the audio system of the main live broadcast room.
System Solution
The host or guest uses the Relacart lavalier microphone to speak, which is transmitted by HR-32D through Dante protocol to the mixing console, and then transmitted to the monitoring system for the director to control the sound situation, and handed over to the live streaming team to connect with the live streaming platform for broadcasting. At the same time, the director is also equipped with an HR-32D microphone, and speech can be transmitted to the host's ear through the PM-320 monitoring system for real-time adjustment of the program at any time.
Sound pickup system
In terms of sound pickup, the HR-32 series has a Dante network protocol interface that can be easily connected to other Dante devices. The system has a 130HMz ultra wide bandwidth and more frequencies to choose from to avoid interference. Equipped with spectrum management function, the on-site frequency can be visualized and controlled, creating a clean wireless working environment. Paired with the extremely lightweight T-32 bodypack transmitter and LM-C550 lavalier microphone, it picks up clear and full sound while reducing the sense of weight loss caused by the waist bag.
Distribution System
R-14D is a wideband 4-Channel Antenna Distribution System with low internal modulation distortion, fully suitable for wireless system operation in UHF high bandwidth, and can support 2-4 Relacart wireless series or other series of wireless system applications. The R-32AU Wide-band Directional Antenna, which can enhance and expand signal reception, providing stable signal transmission.
In ear monitoring system
Relacart's PM-320 wireless in ear monitoring system features advanced electronic technology and high fidelity sound to transmit live sound in the most authentic state to the monitoring headphones. During the recording process of this special program, the director used this system to control the host's voice in real time to ensure the perfect progress of the program.
After assembly and debugging by the staff, the Relacart wireless microphone audio system has been use. The HR-32D wireless microphone system perfectly picks up sound and transmits it to the TASCAM Sonicview 16 mixing console that also supports this protocol through Dante interface for processing, and then transmits it to the Relacart PM-320 in ear monitoring system to monitor the live broadcast situation in real time and present the most perfect broadcasting effect.
With the cooperation of multiple parties, the 9-and-a-half-hour live broadcast program came to a perfect end. During this period, the microphone system operated very stably, accurately reproducing human voices and transmitting them stably, successfully completing the live broadcast work!
