China Southern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. was officially established in 1991. With a fleet size exceeding 800 aircraft, it is the largest airline in China in terms of the number of flights, the most extensive route network, and the highest annual passenger traffic. In order to enhance customer service and communication efficiency, the VIP lounge of China Southern Airlines recently decided to upgrade its audio system. After comparing multiple options, they selected Relacart's wireless audio products.
Project Requirements
Difficult Cable Layout
According to the project manager, due to the difficulty of laying cables in the venue, only a wireless microphone system could be chosen. It was also essential to ensure no interference during use and stable sound transmission.
Space Limitations
Due to layout constraints, the microphones were positioned at the side of the speakers. Therefore, the microphones needed to have excellent pickup performance, delivering rich and clear sound.
Variety of Meeting Types
The lounge is used for discussions with various stakeholders, hosting a variety of meetings daily. As such, the microphone system needed to have sufficient functionality to adapt to different usage scenarios.

The data instructions in this wireless conference discussion system are transmitted via the LoRa protocol, and audio operates in the UHF frequency band. Its high-fidelity circuit design ensures high-quality sound performance.

Multiple Microphone Compatibility
The WDC-903 Wireless Conference System offers several unit options. The classic WDC-903C/D wireless units can be paired with different microphone types to suit various occasions. For this case, the CF-100 detachable gooseneck microphone was used. Its elegant design aligns with the aesthetic requirements of the VIP lounge. The long microphone arm allows easy voice pickup without the need to be positioned too close to the speaker.
Stable Transmission
The WDC-903 Wireless Conference System uses UHF audio transmission technology and comes with an antenna interface. When paired with Relacart's antenna system, it provides exceptionally strong signal transmission. With the unique frequency backup function, the system ensures stable sound transmission even in complex wireless environments.
Multiple Conference Modes
The system supports several modes, including limited speech time, first-come-first-served, request-to-speak, and voice-controlled modes. Since some seating arrangements at China Southern Airlines require two people to share a single microphone, these different modes ensure smooth communication in various types of meetings.
Installation and Feedback
After installation and debugging by the technical team, the Relacart WDC-903 Wireless Conference Discussion System has been successfully deployed in the VIP lounge of China Southern Airlines.
